Chairman Cadwell lauded them both for the work they did to provide a successful legal and financial foundation for Lake-Sumter EMS and now Lake EMS. Commissioner Conner added his thanks to Mr. Minkoff for his instrumental role during the transition from Lake-Sumter EMS to Lake EMS.

Ms. Marilyn Sonn, Lake EMS Finance Manager, was recognized for 14 years of service and honored on the occasion of her retirement.
Ms. Marilyn Sonn, Lake EMS Finance Manager, was recognized for 14 years of service and honored on the occasion of her retirement. Mr. Smith explained that Ms. Sonn joined Lake-Sumter EMS in March of 2001 and faced the challenge of creating a Finance Department and necessary financial processes. During her tenure, she managed the department very well while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Mr. Smith thanked Ms. Sonn for the many hours she “burned the midnight oil” on work projects.
Lake EMS greatly appreciates the service of these three dedicated individuals. We wish them all much success in the next chapters of their lives.
