Lake EMS Paramedic Tristan Haardt receives the True North award from Chairman Tim Sullivan, flanked by Major Casey Nichols and Executive Director Jerry Smith
Paramedic Tristan Haardt and EMT Matthew Small were presented with the True North Award at the Lake EMS Board meeting on 5 June 2018. They responded to a call where a Florida Hospital Waterman employee had been attacked by dogs. This Lake EMS crew worked diligently to ensure the safety of the patient and expressed compassion to both the patient and the family – not only during the incident, but also after transferring care to the hospital.
